Four demos from daily practice
No screenshots but working screens. Each demo shows how I turn a real question into something you can use straight away: a dashboard that recalculates, a pipeline you drag, a segment that counts along live and a calendar you reshuffle.
Four screens I thought up, designed and built myself, from the design down to the JSON API underneath. They run on invented data, but the questions behind them come from the work I did at KBenP, Ahold Delhaize, HyperMe Marketing and Unicorn Displays.
Marketing dashboard
- Situation
- Management asks for numbers every Monday that live in five different systems, and every system counts slightly differently.
- What she did
- Merged the sources into one set of definitions and built a dashboard where period and channel recalculate every panel at once.
- Result
- One screen with fixed definitions that answers the question before it is asked.
Email marketing
- Situation
- Open rate goes up, revenue does not. What do you steer on then, and what do you do with a test that decides nothing?
- What she did
- Moved reporting to clicks, conversion and unsubscribes, rebuilt the segments and made the flow respond to behaviour.
- Result
- Steering on what is actually measurable, with a list that lands and a choice you can explain.
CRM and pipeline
- Situation
- The CRM is full of duplicates and inconsistent spellings, and nobody trusts the forecast any more.
- What she did
- Traced duplicate records with a quality score per contact and rebuilt the pipeline around weighted value.
- Result
- Clean data, a forecast built on win probability per stage and cleanup gains you can watch add up per record.
Social planning
- Situation
- Planning lives in a spreadsheet, the numbers in another tab and the best posting time is a gut feeling.
- What she did
- Put calendar, channels and numbers on one screen and tested posting times against actual reach.
- Result
- A schedule you can grasp at a glance, with reach and timing to back up the choice.
Why demos and not a list of bullet points
A CV tells you what someone has done, a demo shows you how they think. Every demo starts from a question I was actually asked, shows the choice I made and the number that comes out of it. At the bottom of each demo you can see which project from my CV it goes back to.
What you are looking at
Click through the demos and use the filters. Everything recalculates live, none of it is a screenshot. They work with the keyboard too: the deal cards and the posts in the calendar move with the arrow keys.
The demos pull their numbers from a JSON API on this site, so filters and calculations really run instead of being baked in.
Every number on this page is invented sample data, built to look realistic on purpose and calculated live by a JSON API on this site. No client data is used and no existing organisation is imitated. I would rather show what I can do than write it down.
